- The submission page for the MOPTA 2010 conference is open.
- A new Cyber-Infrastructure for MINLP, www.minlp.org, is available. The result of a collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University and IBM, it aims at promoting the modeling and solving of MINLP problems (see also issue #80 of Optima).
- For undergrad students: Lehigh is now a member of IAESTE (International Association for Exchange of Students for Technical Experience), which is an excellent opportunity for engineering undergraduate students for locating international summer internships. Short Bio
I am a visiting assistant professor at the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering of Lehigh University since August, 2008.
In 2003 I got a PhD in Computer Engineering at the Dept. of Electronics and Computer Science of the Technical University of Milan, Italy. From 2006 to 2008, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University.
